About Burns Tire Exchange
Burns Tire Exchange is a tire shop in Stratford, Connecticut. It is listed at 1135 Main St, Stratford, CT 06615, which places it among the local businesses of Stratford that residents and visitors turn to when they need this kind of service close by. Google also lists it under wheel alignment service, wheel store, which is worth knowing if you are comparing several options in the area.
Tire shops sell and install new tires, patch punctures, balance wheels and, at most locations, align the suspension. Prices are quoted per tire plus mounting, balancing, valve stems and a state disposal fee for the old set; many shops price-match and include free rotation and flat repair for the life of the tire. Used tire shops sell inspected take-offs for a fraction of the price of new ones, useful for an older car or a single replacement, but check the tread depth (4/32 inch or more) and the DOT date code, since rubber ages even on the shelf. Mobile tire services come to your driveway or the roadside, commercial shops handle semi, trailer, farm and off-road tires, and wheel shops repair and refinish bent or curb-scraped rims.
Hours are published for 6 days a week. On most of those days it is open 8 am–5:30 pm. Note that it does not open on Sunday. Hours in the United States do change around federal holidays and long weekends, so a quick call before a special trip is sensible. The listed phone number is (203) 377-2613. Many businesses also reply to text messages on the same number if it is a cell phone. Its website is burnstire.com, where you may find menus, price lists or booking options.
On Google it holds a rating of 4.9 out of 5 from 412 reviews, which is a strong result for a tire shop in Stratford and suggests consistent service.

this is one of those rare fines where you get service value, friendly customer care, which is so rare today. had a flat that no one else would say anything but you need a new tire and a friend recommended. I go check Byrnes tires… And they had no charge not only repaired my tire but told me that there’s plenty of tread left on it and I’m still driving on the tire. Heading back there with another car to buy four tires because even though I priced elsewhere and it’s a long drive to get to Byrnes as well worth it in savings and confidence. again, this is one of those places that’s still exist that you want to keep secret to yourself but they’ve earned high praise so…..

I highly recommend them! I arrived with my daughter right at 8:00 AM, and the service was 10/10 from the very first minute. The gentleman who helped us was so friendly; he took my keys to fix a screw in my tire, and in less than 10 minutes, the car was ready to go. It’s so hard to find such honest and quick service these days. I felt very safe and well taken care of. I will definitely be a returning customer!

What a great place to go to get tires! The staff took the time to educate me and explain the different Tire possibilities for my car. They were kind, helpful and patient in doing this, even though they were quite busy. The young woman took the time to explain about the rebate and how to get it. They will also rotate my tires twice a year for free and asked me to come back for any trouble with my tires at any time and they would help. Price was fair. Service was excellent. Will be going back forever thank you Burns tire

I recently needed tires for my Jeep Wrangler. I spoke to Rich and he suggested Cooper Discoverer Road and Trail AT tires. I took his advice and so far I love them. The people that helped me at the front counter (Kate and James) while Rich was out of town were super nice and helpful. The service was great, the price was great, and they even cleaned the blue stuff off the raised white letters. I send everyone I know to Burns Tire and I highly recommend them.
